Description
Campus tours are a great way for prospective students, families, educators and the community to learn more about Wake Tech. During your visit, you will learn more about our variety of program offerings, innovative learning environments, opportunities for student engagement, leadership and student success resources. Tours are led by Wake Tech Student Ambassadors.
Programs located at the Southern Wake Campus include: University Transfer, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Interior Design, Architectural Systems Technology, Simulation & Game Development, Agricultural Systems Technology, AHR, Electrical Systems Technology, etc.
If you do not see your program of interest in the above list, you may want to tour our Scott Northern Wake, RTP, Eastern Wake, or Perry Health Sciences Campuses.
Tours are walking and take about 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete.

- Can I bring a group of students on tour?
If you are looking to bring a group of prospective students (5-40 people), please click here to complete the Special Tour request form.
- How long is the campus tour?
We suggest allowing an hour for the tour experience.
- Is there free parking available on campus?
Wake Tech has free visitor parking spots around campus. We recommend parking in Lot A in any visitor or unmarked space.
- What should I wear to a campus tour?
You will be outside and walking during the tour. Wear comfortable footwear and bring any other clothing (i.e. raincoat, sunglasses, jacket) to be prepared for inclement weather.
- Do tours get canceled for inclement weather?
Generally, tours will happen rain or shine. Should tours be canceled due to campus closure, you will be notified via email or text.
- Is the campus tour wheelchair accessible?
Yes. We make sure that all of our campus tours are wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions regarding accommodations, please contact recruiter@waketech.edu
